Chemogen’s proprietary technology
has been applied to the ELISA and rapid test formats. Additionally,
the technology is adaptable to other test formats, including automated
analyzers and other immunoassay test systems.
In clinical studies, the ELISA test demonstrated high sensitivity and specificity in HIV-related TB.
In November 2007, Chemogen entered into an agreement with Inverness Medical Innovations for the exclusive worldwide manufacture and distribution of Chemogen's Tuberculosis tests.
